Pray for Our Troops

Christians ... pray, pray, pray.
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders."Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands. Protect them as they
protect us. Bless them and their families
for the selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior."

God Bless You!
In the still of the night
And all throughout the day.
Whether working or sleeping,
At leisure or play.
Your Guardian Angel
Keeps watch over you
With care and devotion
And love every true.

V.B. Chevalier
If you're going to doubt anything,
doubt your doubts.

Walk by Faith and Not by Sight
You life will go in the direction of your
most dominant thoughts. When your thoughts
are focused on the past, it hinders your growth.
Your thoughts of the past hold you back, causing
you to relive those events over and over again.
But when you look straight ahead at the future
God has planned for you, then you can move
forward. It's just like driving a car.
If your rearview mirror were as big as your
windshield, you wouldn't get very far.
You would just sit there looking at
what's behind you.
Heavenly Father,
thank You for the gift of forgiveness
that allows me to release the past
so I can look straight ahead.
Show me, today, if there is anything
in my heart that would keep me from
moving forward into everything
You have in store for me.
In Jesus' Name.
Amen.
“Look straight ahead…”
Proverbs 4:25 TLB

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine
eyelids look straight before thee.
Proverbs 4:25 KJV
He is forever, right beside us
Walking with us, everyday
Holding tight onto our heart
Leading us, in the right way

So within our disappointments
We may not always see the light
But God is always with us
As we're forever, in His sight

Within our limited abilities
We sometimes, falter, fall, and trip
Then suddenly something happens
To show, we're forever in His grip

You see, we were created human
By our Fathers loving hand
And though we may not see ahead
His footsteps, are always in the sand
Within our disappointments
A light comes shining through
To let us know we're not alone
For this is when, God carries you

Within these human boundaries
We may not see His face
But then, a tiny blessing shows
We are forever, in His grace

But when you fix your eyes on your future,
the past disappears. Choose today to look
straight ahead by forgiving those who have
hurt you in your life. And it doesn't matter
if it was years ago or just yesterday.
Choose today to look straight ahead and
move forward into the life of blessing
God has in store for you!

"I am only one, but I am one.
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something
that I can do.
What I can do, I should do.
And what I should do,
by the grace of God, I will do."
