our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders."Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands. Protect them as they
protect us. Bless them and their families
for the selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior."

To Not Be Distracted
When the attractions of the world
come at me, I shall keep my thoughts
continually upon Christ and
His love for me.
The power of sin distracts us from
walking Christ's straight and narrow path.
Sin draws our attention away from the
right life, and instead, sin makes us look at
the wrong life. Sinful desires take us away
from what Christ wants for us and from us.
To live a godly life we must focus all our
attention upon what is good and godly.
We must look straight ahead at Christ
standing just before us. The path we take
must be only the path Christ wants us to take.
We must not walk on paths that are
unwholesome and ungodly. We must walk
straight ahead and not be distracted from
all the sinful attractions on the right or left
of our path. When we walk, we must not
walk toward evil. Instead we must walk
away from evil and toward righteousness
at all times.
The angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid; for behold,
I proclaim to you good news of great
joy that will be for all the people."
Luke 2:10
Keep my attitudes positive and strong.
Keep my vision filled with an image
of you holding me every hour.
Keep my suffering surrounded by
your nail-scarred hands.
Keep my sensitivities tuned to your
mighty love falling down upon me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of
my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my
Mighty God, and my Ever-present
Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.

Most Precious Lord Jesus,
Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present
Holy Spirit,
Keep my footsteps going only in your
direction as I trod your path.
Keep my thoughts continually upon you
and your love for all persons.
Keep my mind busy counting your blessings.
Keep my hands busy doing your work.
Keep my eyes focused upon your Cross.
Keep my arms open so I can embrace you
as my very own.
Keep my ears open to your voice calling me
to be your dear child.
Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine
eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all
